23.

Dang-it!

I am officially a stalker of...

Andrey Arshavin
the russian Arsenal player who scored 4 goals after 64 years since the last history in the match against Liverpool

I know he is married and has a baby yada yada yada I don't care. He is such freaking good football player :) Plus i've always had a thing for fair skinned guys with red blushing cheeks and is good with his left arm and leg, haha. He is actually pretty intelligent too. He has a degree in fashion design and wrote 3 books. Okayyy...I think i'll keep the rest of the stalking results details to myself.

Gunners bring it on!
I can sense somebody smiling while reading this post, mahem

don't play with fire

I just had the most terrifying nightmare of my life.

It's far worse than dying. I was dying together with the other half of my family who aren't believers. We were walking together on a path that eventually lead to a trap, but obviously I was the only one who could see it. Yet, I risked my life and got myself trapped because I thought I could get out of it in time.

Of course all that didn't happen literally in my dream. But it felt something like that.

That's what happens when you are far away from God. You don't know what you're getting yourself into.

I don't know what have I gotten myself into. God just seems so far away.

david archuleta LIVE in Malaysia

So David Archuleta's album promo performance was yesterday. To cut things short, he was just amazinggg. Period.

No doubt that fair, petite cute little shorty sings like an angel. All the long walking, long waiting, under the hot sun, under the stormy rain...was it worth it? It definitely was.
(like duh...after all the phone calls, begging, lining up, travelling all around just to get his tickets)

Some snippets:

Although we waited like God knows how many hours just to hear him sing 6 songs in less than half an hour, I am honoured to have heard him sing live. My favourite performance was A Thousand Miles while he was playing the keyboard at the same time, awesome stuff.

Songs performed:
1. A Little Too Not Over You
2. Touch My Hands
3. Don't Let Go
4. Crush
5. A Thousand Miles (accompanied by keyboard)
6. Angels (accompanied by keyboard)

Uhh, I am still in awe of him.

your love is extravagant

For those of you out there who believes in doing good work and not doing bad things throughout your life,

let me ask you this...

do you do good things because you sincerely love the people?
OR
do you do it for the sake of being rewarded / not going to hell after you die?

I know I do good things because I love the people I serve, like how Jesus gave his life for all of us because he loves us. Not because of anything or anyone, only for one reason, powerful enough, which is LOVE.

Does your "god" truly love you? Ask yourself this. Are there terms and conditions you must fulfill in order to get blessings from your "god"?

Love
is what differentiates my God and "yours". That I am very sure of.

the night of nights

Firstly, let me just take some space to wish my baby a very happy month-sary! It has been great so far, and you have been amazing :)

Anyways...

we're getting ready for the night of nights, tomorrow's nottingham's annual dinner

tux, dress, shoes, accessories, yada yada yada...all checked!

I think we're almost ready :)

Sean got rid of his thick african grassy hair today, then I got my sister to perform experiments on my head. After all the last minute shopping and tryouts...

...we rewarded ourselves with SS2's super yummy kam heong sotong rice for dinner.

I guess we both are a little clueless about this whole prom thing. After all, it is our first time attending a prom, which has always been a dream for me. I have always wanted to attend my high school's prom, and dreamt of being prom queen even, but I missed it for some reason. So thanks babe for insisting to taking me for this one so I can have a taste of what it's like to walk down the ballroom carpet and probably have a dance with you, eventhough my friends around me that have attended numerous proms say that they are plain common and boring. I am still looking forward to it :) as long as I am with you.

God please let it be good, Sean and I broke a few teeth and made holes in a couple of pockets for this one.

Sinful but Guilt-free

My workout schedule last week:

Monday: 20 laps of swimming
Tuesday: 40 laps of swimming
Wednesday: well deserved break
Thursday: badminton and cycling for about 2 hours
Friday: break

I ate the normal portions of food that I normally eat throughout the week, however I did managed to cut down on carbs - especially during lunch and dinner, so that I can reward myself with McDs during the weekend. Hahalala.

And tada...!!!
I lost 2 kgs at the end of the week.

My workout schedule this week:
Monday: 20 laps of swimming
Tuesday: 3.2km run
Wednesday: 30 laps of swimming
Thursday...
Friday...

The key to losing / maintaining weight but yet being able to eat the food you desire is by exercising. Even a 20 minute simple workout everyday would really help to hide those extra layers. People may think that it's a waste of time since the carbs will be taken in by the body again, but it's NOT true, your body DOES make full use of those 20 minutes of hardwork. On top of that, exercising is a practice of healthy lifestyle.

Eating is important as well, and I just made a new best friend...

Yogurt drinks are the cleansing angels to your small intestines. I indulge in this strawberry and raspberry flavoured one, it's so delicious and makes it perfect to sip on especially when i'm feeling hungry throughout the day.

Instead of the normal chocolates and chips, I try to snack on fruits throughout the week. I know i'm crazy, but my whole point of this diet thing is so that I can fit into my prom dress this Saturday. And guess what? I still managed to lose weight even after eating fast food, meatballs and whatever I want during the weekend :)

So if you're planning on losing weight, but don't have the determination to do so, you can try using my method :
workhard throughout the week, reward yourself during the weekend.

...my next post would most probably on prom, so look foward peeps...if people actually still read this blog, haha.
